Tributes Flow for the Reiners as Medical Examiner's Findings Are Sealed.

Well beyond 14 days after the tragic deaths of renowned filmmaker Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, the entertainment community persist in remembering the pair.

A Heartfelt Farewell: Cary Elwes Pays Tribute to His Director

Writing on Instagram, actor Cary Elwes, who was featured in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, stated he just recently felt able to share openly about his personal sorrow.

"Adequate time has gone by that I can now express my sorrow into words," posted Elwes, adding that his initial encounter with Reiner left him smitten. "Once we started sharing more moments together I understood this was someone I wanted in my life."

The actor uploaded never-before-seen clips from the production, commenting that he could not remember "any day without joy".

"The film is about devotion, fidelity and selflessness. Principles that Rob cherished deeply. Which is among the many reasons he was the perfect person to guide it," Elwes continued.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, stating: "To say that they were a great team would be an understatement. My heart still aches every time I remember you." He concluded with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but life is pain without you."

Martin Scorsese Recalls a Fellow Artist

In a distinct tribute, revered director Martin Scorsese paid homage to Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"Right away, I loved hanging out with Rob. We had a innate rapport for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes sharply witty, but he was never the kind of guy who would command the room," Scorsese shared.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's supporting role in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the lead role.

"He was skilled at improv with the best. He was a virtuoso at comedy, he worked seamlessly with his co-stars, and he understood the emotional dilemma of his character," Scorsese added.

Court Proceedings: Autopsy Reports Withheld

Recently, a Los Angeles judge decided to bar the disclosure of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, at the request from the Los Angeles Police Department.

A court order placed a restriction on the cases to prohibit the public release of "all case details, documents, files or images" pertaining to the ongoing investigation.

The relevant authority had earlier stated their deaths were the outcome of homicide, with a official listing listing the cause as "injuries from a sharp object".

Fallout and Commentary

Following the tragedy, public personalities expressed varying comments.

Former President Donald Trump posted on the matter, offering divisive statements that were broadly criticized by several public figures.
